Re:vive ("the extension") is a browser extension that helps you draft follow-up emails in Gmail using your own AI chat account (Claude or ChatGPT).
What the extension does with your data
- Email content: When you click "Draft Followup", the extension reads the currently open Gmail thread inside your browser and passes its text to the AI chat tab (claude.ai or chatgpt.com) that it opens in your own browser, under your own logged-in account, in a temporary chat. The content goes directly from your browser to your AI provider — never to us or any other third party.
- Drafts: A generated draft is held in local extension storage only for the moment it takes to hand it from the AI tab to your Gmail reply box, then deleted. No drafts, emails, or history are kept.
- Settings: Your platform choice (Claude or ChatGPT) and preferences are stored locally on your device. That is the only data the extension keeps.
What we do NOT do
- We do not operate any server or database.
- We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your emails, contacts, browsing history, or any personal data.
- We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind.
- We do not read email threads until you explicitly click the button.
Feedback
If you choose to send feedback through the extension popup, the text you write (plus the extension version number) is submitted to a form we operate. You may optionally include your name and email address if you would like a reply; these optional fields are used only to respond to your feedback and are never required, shared, or used for marketing. Sending feedback is entirely optional and contains only what you type.
Third parties
Your use of Gmail, Claude, and ChatGPT is governed by their own privacy policies. The extension merely automates actions in tabs you can see, on accounts you own.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a new date.
